Dual-Layer Nylon 66 Pleated Filter Cartridge

PARSWOOD Dual-Layer Nylon 66 Pleated Filter Cartridges use two hydrophilic membrane layers for fine filtration of compatible liquids. The Nylon 66 membrane wets naturally without added wetting agents, and the cartridge is manufactured without glues or adhesives.

Select your cartridge

Choose the rating pair, nominal length and seal material below. All 40 online configurations use a 226 O-ring connection with fin and stainless steel insert (Code 7) and a polypropylene core.

• Rating pairs (upstream + downstream): 0.1 + 0.1, 0.22 + 0.22, 0.45 + 0.22 and 0.45 + 0.45 µm
• Nominal lengths: 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 inches
• Seal materials: Silicone or EPDM

Each configuration has its own PARSWOOD part number. Select the seal for compatibility with your process liquid and cleaning procedure.

What the dual-layer rating means

The upstream and downstream membrane ratings are stated separately. For a 0.22 + 0.22 µm configuration, liquid passes through two 0.22 µm layers in sequence. These ratings do not add together or produce a 0.11 µm rating.

The supplier describes the membrane as absolute rated and each cartridge as integrity tested. A pore-size rating or integrity test alone does not establish sterilizing-grade performance for a particular process; applications requiring microbial retention need appropriate validation.

Applications and selection

For high-purity water and compatible aqueous or solvent-based process liquids. For wine, bottled water or other beverage polishing, qualify the cartridge against the fluid, process conditions and required retention before use. Compatibility depends on the complete cartridge, including the selected seal material.

• Maximum differential pressure: 4.0 bar at 25°C; 2.4 bar at 80°C
• Supplier-listed steam sterilization exposure: 125°C for 30 minutes, up to 30 cycles

Steam exposure is a separate condition from normal liquid operation. Follow the applicable operating procedure and confirm compatibility of the selected cartridge, housing and seals before steaming.
