Nylon 66 Hydrophilic Pleated Filter Cartridge
Nylon 66 Hydrophilic Pleated Filter Cartridge
PARSWOOD™ Nylon 66 Pleated Filter Cartridges
PARSWOOD™ Nylon 66 pleated filter cartridges use an inherently hydrophilic, absolute-rated membrane for filtration of compatible aqueous liquids and solvents. Thermally bonded construction eliminates the use of glues, adhesives and wetting agents.
Choose from multiple pore ratings, lengths, end connections and seal materials to match your process and filter housing.
Selection summary

Applications
- High-purity water filtration.
- Food and beverage process filtration.
- Compatible organic solvents and aqueous co-solvent mixtures.
- Compatible pharmaceutical process liquids, subject to application qualification.
For bottled water, wine or other beverage applications, select the pore rating according to the required particle removal and process objectives. Do not assume that a pore rating alone establishes microbial stability or sterile filtration.
Construction and features
- Inherently hydrophilic Nylon 66 membrane, with no added wetting agents.
- Thermally bonded construction without glues or adhesives.
- PET support with polypropylene structural components.
- Individually integrity-tested filter elements.
- Manufactured in a cleanroom environment.
Compatibility and operating limits
Check compatibility for the complete cartridge—including the membrane, support, structural components and seals; against your fluid composition, concentration, temperature and exposure time.
Differential pressure is the pressure difference across the cartridge, not the housing pressure rating. Observe both the cartridge limits and the separate limits of the housing.
The stated steam exposure is separate from the 80°C maximum operating temperature. Confirm the appropriate steaming procedure and suitability of the selected end connection and seals before use.
Integrity testing and documentation
The cartridge family is specified as 100% integrity tested. Request the applicable test method and acceptance limits for your selected grade and configuration.
Absolute-rated filtration and integrity testing do not, by themselves, establish sterilizing-grade bacterial retention. Processes requiring sterile filtration need supporting retention validation and process-specific qualification.
